Abstract
Herpes zoster is a disease characterized by clusters of small blisters distributed unilaterally along a peripheral nerve segment. It's commonly seen at chest flanks, axillary, around waist and face. Because of weakened immunity and primary diseases, the elderly are more prone to get severe herpes zoster. Post herpetic neuralgia is more commonly seen in middle-aged people. Conventional therapy combined with acupuncture treatment displayed good curative effect. The report is as follows.
