Abstract

Objective: To research the optimum treatment scheme of acupuncture on lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis (LFCN). Methods: We treated 76 cases of LFCN with different acupuncture therapies and compared the clinical effects. Results: The therapeutic effect in the combination of perpendicular acupuncture at Jiaji (EX-B2, L2-3), horizontal insertion at Biguan (St 31), Futu (ST 32), Liangqiu (ST 34), Fengshi (GB 31) and flashing cupping is better than that of simple acupuncture.
