Abstract

Ichemic apoplexy, also called ischemic cerebrovascular disease (including cerebral thrombosis, cerebral embolism, and transient cerebral ischemic attack), belongs to the TCM category of "wind-stroke syndomre." The increasingly high incidence of the disease has imposed serious influence on life quality of people. Based on the theory of "lingering illness affecting collaterals," we have treated the disease by acupuncture and oral administration of leech capsule and centipede capsule, with good therapeutic results reported as follows.
